How it Works

Unique Portraits Created From Your Photo

Here is a step-by-step guide on how your unique silhoutte portrait is created. It's easy and normally takes about two weeks. All you need to do is choose the colour & style and email me a quick photo. To get started, simply contact me.

1. Select Your Product

Choose from contemporary or traditional frames, or unframed wall mounted or free-standing pieces. Silhouettes can be of individuals, couples, groups or pets.

To see some examples, look at the Products section. To get an idea of prices, see the examples on the Prices page.

2. Choose Your Style

Black, mirrored or fluoro acrylic, hand-painted wood or laser cut vintage papers. Colours are from the Porter's Paints range of acrylics, famous for their quality and consistency.

3. Send a Photo

Take a profile photo of the subject using your phone or camera and email to me. Just a snap is fine. For some tips on what makes a good snap, I've written a blog post on taking the perfect profile photo.

4. Approve a Proof

After you send the photo, your silhouette design is created and a proof is emailed to you. It's at this proofing stage you can make any adjustments to the silhouette profile.

5. Pay Online

Once you approve the silhouette profile proof, you'll be invoiced for the total amount. Pay securely by bank transfer. Upon receipt of payment, your product will be made. See some example prices.

6. It's Yours!

It takes 2 to 4 weeks for an item to be produced, gift-wrapped and delivered FREE within Australia. International delivery times vary. Please allow for this if it's for a special occasion.
